Service Agreement

By engaging Romagian Granite & Marble for stone fabrication and installation services, you agree to these terms. Our services include consultation, design, fabrication, and installation of natural stone and engineered quartz countertops, vanities, and other stone surfaces in New Jersey and surrounding areas.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Final pricing may vary based on actual measurements, material selection, and any changes to the original specifications. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for material cost fluctuations or additional work requested by the customer.

Payment Terms:

• 50% deposit required upon contract signing
• Remaining balance due upon completion of installation
• Payment accepted via cash, check, or credit card
• Late payments may incur additional fees

Material Selection and Approval

Natural stone is a product of nature and contains variations in color, veining, and pattern. These variations are not defects but characteristics that make each piece unique. Customers must approve slab selection before fabrication begins. Once approved and fabrication has started, material cannot be exchanged for aesthetic preferences.

Warranty and Liability

We provide a one-year warranty on workmanship for fabrication and installation. This warranty covers defects in our work but does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by others. Natural characteristics of stone, including fissures and color variations, are not covered under warranty.

Limitation of Liability:

Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective work. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.

Installation and Access

Customer must provide clear access to work areas and ensure utilities (water, electricity) are available. Installation dates are estimates and may be subject to change due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances. Customer is responsible for removing existing countertops unless otherwise arranged.

Changes and Cancellations

Changes to approved designs may result in additional charges and delays. Cancellations after material ordering or fabrication has begun will result in charges for materials and work completed. Deposits are non-refundable once fabrication begins.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance instructions will be provided upon installation completion. Failure to follow care instructions may void warranty coverage. We recommend professional sealing for natural stone surfaces as needed.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with New Jersey law. Both parties agree to attempt good faith negotiation before pursuing formal dispute resolution.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the appropriate courts of New Jersey.
